A D-Container, also called a D-Box, holds up to 65 cubic feet and 1,500 lbs, making it a great fit for household goods, personal effects, small business inventory, and care packages.

Is My Cargo Eligible?

The D-Container rate is for standard, non-modified shipments. Your cargo qualifies when it:

  • Does not exceed 65 cubic feet
  • Does not exceed 1,500 lbs
  • Fits within the standard D-Container without alteration

Cargo that is distorted, modified, oversized, or over the cubic-foot limit is not eligible for the D-Container rate and will be charged under the standard LCL tariff.
